Antibiotics for the wounded

War in the East of Ukraine is gaining momentum. Our army in battle suffers losses. Ukrainian military get injured and came into the hands of military surgeons. One of the most difficult and dangerous complications of wounds and wound infections over the centuries, which takes lives, is considered to be sepsis. This disease is very difficult to treat, therefore mortality from the disease is high. The more extensive the damage is, more difficult to rely on debridement. If the victim has a serious injury, then in most cases the doctors do amputation of limb.

Fighters receive blood infection from the festering wounds. Characteristic for severe wounds is blood loss, immune system becomes weak, and blood infection begins to spread throughout the body. Purulent sepsis begins due to infection. Infection should be stopped potent antibiotics. Fighting with sepsis is very important for the wounded in a war surgery.

The effective antibiotics in ground warfare are much needed. Drugs Tienam, Meronem and Doribax will be transferred into the hands of the chief of the medical unit battalions of volunteers.

We are going to collect at UBB 51 110 UAH (UPDATE: 03/09/2014 this amount was collected, and the total project sum has been increased to help more defenders) – this amount is needed to buy antibiotics for the wounded soldiers of the battalion of special purpose "Donbass".
