First aid kits for the elderly

Every day more than 150 vulnerable pensioners visit the Ukrainian Charity Found "Social Partnership"; on their meager pensions they barely make ends meet, they have only enough money to pay for utilities, not to mention food and the most essential medicines. Most retirees who come to the Fund are single – they don’t have close relatives who could care for them and help in this critical hour. Ukrainian Charity Found "Social Partnership raise funds for completing and distribution of first aid kits for single pensioners. Today over 180 such kits are already issued.

The cost of one kit is about 270 UAH. The list includes 25 medicines and material necessities that in critical case will be at hand: alohol, ammonia, amizon, analgin, aspirin, Barboval, bandage gauze, boric acid brilliant green, validol, cotton, activated carbon , diazolin-D, iodine, captopress-D, corvalol, mukaltyn, naftizin, hydrogen peroxide, senadeksyn, ftalazol, fukortsyn, Faringosept, tsitramon.

Our parents and grandparents could be in shoes of these low-income seniors. Everyone can contribute to help these people. Albeit small, but no less important. You do not need to leave the house – just one click and you have done a good deed!
