Artem must become a champion. 2018

Artemko, along with his parents, is constantly fighting for the right to be healthy. The diagnosis of cerebral palsy required a lot of moral and material efforts. Massages, intensive care, exercise therapy, medical treatment, hippotherapy, swimming, classes with a speech therapist and a psychologist, a great desire, hard work every day gave an excellent result – he can eat and drink himself, partly dress and take small steps while holding his mother's hand.

Enriched with singing along to the piano, he enchants each time looking at hands of his teacher and dreams that one day he will certainly be able to press the keys and play new melodies. But so far this remains a dream as the right hand needs a lot of point massages in the ulnar joint. However, there is an important success and achievement – he was able to overcome the 6-meter distance in the pool without the help of parents and instructor. 

With remarkable memory, he easily retells after listening to any chosen piece of a fairy tale or cartoon. A cheerful boy, he has many friends, a hunt for learning, loves to draw, dreams of traveling. Artemko tries his hardest, as he can see how, after every rehab, he rises and succeeds. The Apis-Melifika Rehabilitation Center, located in Khmelnytskyi, is most helpful in this.

After surgery on the tendon on both legs, the rehab physician advises continuing treatment every 2-3 months to consolidate all the skills. There is great hope that Artem will be able to walk independently. The boy believes that everything will turn out, because, for him, cerebral palsy is not a sentence! He dreams of going to a regular school with children, enjoying every day, singing in a music school under the piano and continuing to learn English.

Payment for treatment and accommodation require a lot of money and his parents are not able to pay for all of that themselves. It was the last year that brought a lot of changes – the boy was able to balance and he began to stand without support. Please, help Artem in his further treatment.
