Little Artem needs exact examination!

Little Artem can play with Lego for hours. In his skillful hands little bricks turn into a big plane. Now Artem is talking all the time about planes and his trip to Italy. The boy doesn’t know anything about this country but listening to his parents’ talks he has found out that he needs so much to go there. And his parents do know too that he has to go to Italy because there he can undergo MIBG scanning which is not performed in Ukraine.

The family was fighting for Artem’s life almost a year pulling him from the clutches of cancer. Now there is only one question to answer: has the tumor really disappeared?

Last year in summer Artem was hospitalized at the National Institute of Caner with the diagnosis of neuroblastoma. It is hard even to imagine what this little boy had to endure before the final conclusion of the doctors: the surgery to remove the tumor, six cycles of heavy chemotherapy, two cycles of high dose chemo followed by the stem cell transplantation. Instead like any other child he would like to play with cars with his brother, to model with clay, to jump on the trampoline. Now he can go back to his favorite pastime but only if the doctors are convinced that the tumor has disappeared. That’s why his mother and his father ask for help, so that their son could be examined in the Italian hospital where MIBG scanning is performed.

The total amount is 522 EUR (15 500 UAH according to the currency rate). It’s impossible for the family to find such a sum of money after almost a year of treatment. Soon we will celebrate Easter and it’s a time to do good! Artem needs your help so much!
