It hurts, but Artem endures pain

Artemka Chorniy, from village Kulychkiv of the Lviv region, is 5 years old. He does not yet learned to walk, sit and talk, but has learned to endure the pain of injections, underwent surgery by Ulzibat method, 4 courses of rehabilitation in the Chernobyl Hospital in Lviv and 6 courses in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in the city Truskavets. When the child was 4, his father left the family, and since then all the financial costs for Artem's treatment laid on his mother's shoulders.

Artemka was born prematurely, at 7 months, and was under the supervision of a neurologist. At 6 months old, his mother noticed that her son can not to keep his head confidently, does not try to sit, do not take toys in his hands. Doctors immediately appointed medical treatment to prevent the development of cerebral palsy, a terrible disease. However, despite all the efforts, Artemka, at one year old, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis with persistent movement disorders and the lack of independent walking and sitting.

Since then began the endless drug treatments and rehabilitations. Of course, all this has given a positive result. Artem confidently holds his head, his left hand takes hold of toys, and back muscles became stronger.

Recently his mother found out about the rehabilitation center "Apis-Melifika" in the city of Khmelnitsky. After bringing Artemka for a rehabilitation course, she saw good results in the development of the child. So now, she raises money for the next course. 7 000 UAH is all that needed. For some it is a ridiculous sum, but for a mother, who is raising child alone and is unable to work, this is very expensive. Only 7 000 UAH – this is another step to victory over the disease.
