Little Eva wants to walk. 2

Eva was born prematurely at 28 weeks as a tiny girl and spent a month and a half in the intensive care unit. Later, she spent the same amount of time in the preterm infant unit. At the age of one, the girl was diagnosed with lower spastic paraparesis with persistent severe motor disorders. Now Eva is 4 years old, and her medical record contains the following diagnoses: consequences of hypoxic-ischemic damage to the central nervous system, spastic paraplegia and dysarthria.

Regular rehabilitation courses are recommended for Eva, and they are actually bringing results, as the girl is becoming more mobile and active, her vocabulary is increasing, her sleep and appetite are improving. And most importantly, Eva is diligently taking her first steps! Yes, there is still a lot of work to be done to walk confidently and independently, but the beginning has been laid.

Despite this, the girl still has motor disorders, Eva does not put her foot down and does not hold her back well. This means that the treatment needs to be continued. Eva's father is trying to provide for the family on his own, but they have an older son who also has a chest deformity. The cost of ongoing treatment and rehabilitation for the two children is unbearable for the family budget. That's why we ask you to support this project and help Eva to get into a new rehabilitation course.

Every hryvnia is a chance for Eva to stand on her feet with more confidence, walk independently and live without pain and limitations.
