Artem needs help

10-year-old Artem was born and grew up as a normal healthy kid. But unfortunately, at the age of 5, the boy began to have shortness of breath, and doctors diagnosed him with his first serious illness – bronchial asthma. Who could have known then that this would not be Artem's worst diagnosis? A few years later, on January 2, Artem was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital with keto acidosis. That was the first time his mother heard her child's worst diagnosis – insulin-dependent diabetes.

For four years now, mom and son have been living with this disease. Constant sugar measurements both day and night – up to ten times a day. It used to be difficult to explain to the child why he could not eat candy or drink juice whenever he wanted. But Artem is a smart boy, and he quickly learned how to count carbohydrates on his own and understand what is good for him and what is not.

Artem is a very energetic boy, he has many friends. He has hobbies – Artem attends a woodcarving and woodburning class. He also dreams of playing football, but so far he hasn't been able to do so.

Artem's mother is raising him alone. The woman used to work as a daily driver in an ambulance. She had to quit her job because it was too scary to leave the child alone at night. Currently, she works in a pharmacy and cannot provide Artem with the medical equipment he needs to compensate for his diabetes. First of all, the boy needs glucose monitoring sensors, the cost of which exceeds his mother's capabilities.
