Asia wants to walk!

Asia’s mother recalled the first days after the birth of her daughter with horror: the baby was immediately taken to intensive care, she stayed there for 2 weeks, and her mother was allowed to look at the girl only once a day. Then there were 50 long days in the neonatal pathology department. This all happened because of the neuro infection that struck Asia’s body. It was she who changed the girl's life from the first minutes of life...

Asia’s mother recalled the first days after the birth of her daughter with horror: the baby was immediately taken to intensive care, she stayed there for 2 weeks, and her mother was allowed to look at the girl only once a day. Then there were 50 long days in the neonatal pathology department. This all happened because of the neuro infection that struck Asia’s body. It was she who changed the girl's life from the first minutes of life...

Now Asia is already 2 years old, and doctors diagnosed her with spastic tetraparesis with persistent movement disorders in the form of lack of independent movement and delayed psychoverbal development. However, with each new day, Asia achieves new results. She was consulted by many doctors and professors, underwent many courses of massage, exercise therapy and drug treatment, many rehabilitation throughout Ukraine. Doctors say she is a promising girl; she just has to persevere.

"Sometimes I have moments of despair, a lot of questions to which there is no answer. But when I look at her happy smile and hands that stretch towards me, I understand that I cannot be sad. We must fight and not give up," says the girl’s mother. Asia has already learned to crawl, sit on her own and stand by the support, pronounce individual words, show colors and animals. But this is only the beginning! There is still so much work and treatment that requires strength, patience and funds that this family simply does not have... Therefore, we appeal to all those who are not indifferent and ask for support for Asia! Help us raise funds and send the girl for treatment at the "Priorytet" Center!
