Milana's birth was difficult and accompanied by serious complications. "Congenital spinal cord defect Spina bifida and congenital hydrocephalus", these words marked the beginning of the girl's life. On the third day after her birth, the baby was transferred to OKHMATDYT, where doctors performed complex operations to save her life.

Today, Milana is 3 years old, and she still cannot walk, sit properly, or speak. In addition, her right leg is shorter than her left. The girl's vocabulary is limited; she hardly speaks and communicates mostly with gestures. She understands other people's words only partially, which makes it difficult for her to interact with her peers. There are times when she cannot cope with her emotions and becomes hysterical. But despite all the difficulties, Milana has proven to be a real fighter, and thanks to constant work and rehabilitation, the girl's condition is improving.

"There has been improvement. Milana has learned many new words and sounds, she works better with her speech therapist, and she is praised. Milana is already better at concentrating and sitting, and the muscles in her arms are getting stronger," says Liubov, Milana's grandmother, who is raising and caring for her granddaughter on her own and does everything she can every day to ensure her comfort and development.

But it is extremely difficult for the grandmother to cope with the financial difficulties on her own. Doctors say that Milana has a chance for significant improvement, but this requires long-term treatment, rehabilitation, and special classes, which cost a lot of money. The grandmother sincerely begs for help for her granddaughter. Her biggest dream is to see Milana healthy, smiling, and happy.
