Grandma dreams of a full life for Milana. 4

"My name is Liubov, I am Milanochka's guardian grandmother. She is 4 years old and has congenital Spina Bifida, congenital hydrocephalus, lower flaccid paraparesis, neurogenic bladder, dislocation of both hip joints, and scoliosis. The child cannot walk and sits poorly," says the girl's grandmother.

The baby's birth was difficult – on the third day she was transferred to Okhmatdyt, where a series of complex surgeries awaited Milana to save her life. The girl is now 4 years old, but she still has motor impairments, hip joint dislocations, and speech delay. Milana communicates primarily through gestures and has limited understanding of spoken language. Fortunately, rehabilitation is improving the girl's condition – but sessions must be attended regularly.

"During sessions Milana concentrates well and works with her hands, her speech and thinking have improved, and her muscles are also getting stronger. I am very grateful to everyone who contributes to the fundraiser for our Milanka's rehabilitation," adds the grandmother.
