Maria is only six months old, but she has had a congenital malformation of the skull bones since birth.

The frontal bones of the girl fused prematurely, forming a triangle. Unfortunately, without timely treatment, little Maria may face serious problems with her central nervous system, potentially leading to developmental delays or even blindness. It is crucial to install special plates as soon as possible to allow the brain to develop properly. The cost of the materials for the operation is 120,523 UAH.

Currently, Maria and her mother are under the care of a neurologist and a geneticist. In her free time, the girl loves to play with toys, babbles and shows a desire to sit up, though she is not yet physically ready for this. Her father can only see his daughter via his phone screen, as he is defending Ukraine in Kupiansk, while her mother is concerned about the well-being of her husband and their only daughter.

In the first six months of Maria’s life, the congenital malformation of the skull bones has not been the only challenge. At her young age, the girl has contracted staphylococcus aureus and has already undergone a long and painful treatment.

Dear friends, please join this campaign! Let’s stop Maria’s suffering together!
