We can not live without our mother!

UPD: unfortunately, Liudmyla died. The disease was stronger. The UBB team brings our sincere words of condolences to the woman's family and thanks to everyone who supported Liudmyla. How to live in expectation of the unavoidable? When every hour of life is already flowing in a different way and there is only one thought in my head: “Maybe this is the last year, when I see my family, my children ...”. The youngest one, Vanechka, covers my knees, hiding in my skirt, and sniffles. “What’s up, my dear?” - I asked, taking him in my arms. He, my little bird, clings to me – “I could not find you ... I was afraid that you are away...”. It sounds inside with a pain and the child’s “you are away...” tears my heart up. How is he going to live without me?

And what about my daughter, seven-year old Lenochka? She is also very small and helpless ... I am looking at Olezhka. He is twelve, he is older and already understands a lot. But has a child an age when he or she would be able to understand the death of his or her mother?.. I lap my swallows, and do not believe in the unavoidable. I kiss their faces, but there is a shout in my heart: “Help me, people! Not for my sake, for the sake of my children - save my life!”

Lyudmila is infected with hepatitis B that has led to the most dangerous consequence - the destruction of liver, when only the organ transplantation can save her life. When Alexander, Lyudmila’s husband, after many examinations, found that he could be a donor of the part of liver, he did not hesitate for a minute. Because the operation gives the recipient a chance for the “second” life. A donor remains completely healthy, as this unique organ “can” regenerate to full volume.

In the A.A.Shalimov institute of surgery and transplantology spouses were given a list of medicines, needed for the operation, in the amount of 266 662 UAH. This is unfathomably large sum for a rural family, which raises three children. Therefore, Lyudmila and Alexander ask to help them raise the necessary funds, help for the sake of their children, so that the irreparable will not happen. After all, mother is a soul of the family, it’s light and consolation, she inspires and gives meaning to the whole world. Therefore, there can be nothing more painful for a child than to lose mother.

“Vanyusha hugs me tightly with his hands, as if he wants to keep me, he looks into my eyes and asks – “Won’t you go somewhere anymore?.. - No, my dear, I'll be always with you...”.

This project was canceled, the amount collected is 226 641,11 UAH. The funds were disposed of in accordance with the Rules, Principles, and Procedures of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB) International Charitable Fund and the decisions of the Project Donors.
