"Run to feed," Jean Belenyuk
I am Jean Belenyuk – Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler in up-85 kg weight category. I, the silver winner in the Olympic Games (2016), the silver winner in the European championships, the champion and the bronze winner in world championships, double champion and bronze winner in European championships, the bronze winner in Universiade 2013 (Kazan), Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, support Foundation “Socpartnerstvo” at “Fundraising Marathon 2016. Autumn”.
Life is a fight. Someone is stronger, someone is smarter, and someone is more fortunate than others are. Though, never give up. There are moments in life when you can do nothing, and you can lose… In such a way the lives of many people whom I want to help with my participation in the charity marathon were turned out. They are low-income people and children from low-income families.
My aim is to help to raise 15 000 UAH for the Foundation “Socpartnerstvo”. This Foundation do everething to support and help children and adults from poor famalies. Everyday children's canteen cooks about 100 free portions of hot dishes. The youngest visitors get there special baby food with milk ingredients. Adequate nutritious food allows children to develop and enjoy the life, rather than to be hungry and and to have a permanent stomach ache. Feeding children today we spare them from serious diseases in future. Children's canteen works every day without vacations and feeds children during all the day till 6:00 PM without a strict schedule.
The number of persons who visit the Foundations increases every day. That’s why there is a continuing need for a foodstuff. The price of products for cooking one portion of food is around 15 UAH. The foundation needs active support of sympathetic people for any needy child wouldn’t go home hungry.
This project was canceled, the amount collected is 11 UAH. The funds were disposed of in accordance with the Rules, Principles, and Procedures of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB) International Charitable Fund and the decisions of the Project Donors.
