Anton Denysenko is a CEO of the company Bizerba Ukraine and one of the founders of Zaporuka Foundation. On 17th of April I will run to support children affected by cancer. «Thinking about our everyday affairs, about our own welfare, we sometimes forget that somewhere there are people who need our support. I often take part in charity projects but I feel that I can do more.

My goal is to involve into doing good, into saving children affected by cancer most of my friends and people I know. Starting from today and till the 17th of April I will tell people I know not only about some business ideas but also about kids who get accommodation at the Center for Children Affected by Cancer Dacha. About those children whose future depends on us. The monthly rent of the Center is 31 000 UAH. I am sure that with the support of my friends, of all people I know I will be able to raise money to pay the rent. The first donation is mine. Friends, join in. Good deeds are rewarded a hundredfold”.

The Center for Children Affected by Cancer Dacha is the project of Zaporuka Foundation. Annually the Center provides with a free accommodation more than a hundred families who have children with cancer and come for treatment at the National Institute of Cancer in Kyiv from the other cities of Ukraine. There are no more centers like ours in Ukraine. Six families are constantly living here. And it’s so important that everyone has chance to live here with all members of the family: mother, father, their child and even brothers or sisters. Each family has its own separate room which becomes their temporary home. We have also in our Center special rooms for the relatives of the child who has treatment in the hospital with another family member. So they can cook homemade food and make laundry here. The Center is a place where kids and their family have a rest outside of hospital walls and without hospital procedures… as if it were a real dacha. The parents often say that their children are treated at the hospital and at the Dacha they live as if at home or even more they not just live but revive. To improve their blood tests results after chemotherapy some children just need to come to our Dacha because it is their home and as we all know home walls can treat us.
