On July 8, 2026, the project “Bogdanchik Deserves a Childhood” was posted on the dobro.ua platform of the International Charitable Foundation “UBB,” with a total goal of 174,700.00 UAH to fund Bogdan Balanovich’s treatment at the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Specialized Hospital. The goal of the project was to raise funds for a boy with a complex diagnosis: “Acquired hydrocephalus. CPO. VPS. Shunt infection. Removal of the LSH. ZVD (removed after cerebrospinal fluid decontamination).” This condition posed a direct threat to the child’s life and required surgical intervention on the brain. To save Bohdan, on July 15, 2026, doctors performed a complex neurosurgical procedure. The child is currently recovering from the surgeries.
