The fight for life continues

      Every day, Yulia fights for her life. She has a rare and complex oncological disease – neuroendocrine tumours, which have caused disturbances in the functioning of her internal organs. In addition to the main expensive medication, Yulia takes a whole list of medicines every day to maintain the functioning of her body's systems.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 320 dated 11 June 2025, the project ‘The Fight for Life Continues’ was posted on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange - dobro.ua - with the aim of raising donations to pay for Yulia Kutakova's treatment. 
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds collected on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange International Charitable Foundation (UCCF) – dobro.ua – to purchase medicines for the woman. Therefore, according to letter No. 383 dated 01.08.2025, we received the collected amount of UAH 26,430.00 (twenty-six thousand four hundred and thirty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued the collection on the dobro.ua platform. Another 13,930.00 UAH (thirteen thousand nine hundred and thirty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) was credited to the Fund's account on 16.10.2025, according to letter No. 518 dated 15.10.2025.
      In August of this year, we paid for Yulia's examination in the amount of 3,820.00 UAH (three thousand eight hundred and twenty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and also purchased medicines with a total cost of 22,610.00 UAH (twenty-two thousand six hundred and ten hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      Yulia continues to receive anticancer treatment for neuroendocrine tumours and carcinoid syndrome. She also needs daily therapy to support the functions of organs such as the adrenal glands, parathyroid glands, kidneys, liver and others. 
      Due to severe pain in her bones and muscles, an MRI was performed in May, which revealed damage to the spine and the presence of various types of neoplasms. These caused increased pain, more frequent seizures, and numbness. Every day, Yulia is forced to take additional medications to relieve pain and prevent bone destruction. Unfortunately, this is a long process. 
      During her illness, Yulia does handicrafts and tries to sell her products to support herself and earn money for medicine. However, this is not easy for her due to her illness.
      Some of her fingers cannot move, which makes knitting difficult. Despite this, she works hard, overcoming difficulties and moving forward with confidence. 
      We plan to use the remaining unused funds in the amount of 13,930.00 UAH (thirteen thousand nine hundred and thirty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) for Yulia's needs in 2025. The project is still raising funds.
