Fire fighters

Almost three weeks after the fire, the Chornobyl zone continues to burn and smolder. Despite the fact that the smoke in Kiev has passed and we are gradually turning our attention to other topics, more than 1300 firefighters and rescuers and more than 200 pieces of equipment are still working in the Lubianskyi, Paryshivskyi, Dytiatkivskyi and Denisovitskyi forestries in the exclusion zone.  

The main efforts are aimed at the localization of 3 zone: Rassokha village, Kryva Gora village, Rudky village and Buriakivka village. During this long time of active struggle against fire, cars began to break down, and the low technical equipment of the troops eloquently made itself felt. Firefighters now do not ask for food, respirators or bonuses for their dedication. One important thing is to help with equipment so that they can more effectively deal with fires.

We ask you to participate and help raise funds for the following needs of fire brigades in the Chornobyl zone:

1. Switch ZIL 131 (type TK-200) – 5 pcs.
2. Battery charging relay ZIL (type 201 3702) – 5 pcs.
3. ZIL ignition system coil (type B-114) – 4 pcs.
4. ZIL ignition coil (type B-118) – 4 pcs.
5. Trambler ZIL – 3 pcs.
6. Trambler Volga, UAZ, Gazelle – 3 pcs.
7. ZIL spark plugs – 80 pcs.
8. Foresta FA-40S type 2.4 chainsaw – 6 pcs.
9. Chain to the chainsaw – 18 pcs.
10. Oil for two-stroke engines (red) – 10 l.
11. GSM baz 900 MHz (6214) mobile signal amplifier – 3 pcs.
12. Battery charger for battery type Dnipro-M BC-30 – 3 pcs.

The fundraising was initiated by the ReThink Public Association and the Charitable Foundation of the Territory of Good. All funds raised will be spent on the needs of firefighters and rescuers in the Chernobyl zone.
