Time is running out

5-year-old Ira Zub is one of the "seriously ill children". Ira's state until the last moment did not cause concern: she was active, happy and cheerful child. Within one week forces sharply left the girl and she had to be hospitalized immediately. Ira’s mom thought she would cope with all the difficulties in life on her own, maximum – help of attracting family and friends. Diagnosis of doctors was like a bolt from the blue: acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Family cannot buy all the necessary medicines for the treatment of Ira on their own.

Ira was sent to the regional children's hospital already in serious condition. Upon admission to the hematology department the external and internal bleeding began, but thanks to the prompt medical attention her condition was stabilized. Now Ira is passing the first stage of chemotherapy. Now Ira is poured blood and platelet, conducts hormonal and antibiotic therapy. She must pass 3 of these courses during six months.

Doctors describe to parents the objective picture: leukemia of children can be cured, but treatment interruption or lack of treatment can lead to death.

After chemotherapy, the girl needs a stimulant drug "Neupogen." A course of treatment requires 10 packs, the cost of one bottle – 1 480 UAH.

Of course, Irina's parents more than anything dream to cure their daughter! With proper and quality treatment chances of her recovery are over 80%. But everything depends on money! Parents appeal to all for help. Any support is priceless for Ira.
