Give me a chance

The name of this sweet girl is Victoria Prokopenko. She is from Odessa. This baby is only 2 years old! Or rather is already 2 years old! Because Victoria has severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID). It is a rare genetic disorder. The children with this diagnosis like Vicky has without treatment do not live more than 1-2 years. Till July, parents need to find more than 100 thousand euros for bone marrow transplantation overseas - this is the only chance to survive for this baby.

While doctors in Ukraine tried to make a correct diagnosis the time is inexorably fleeing ... As a result, the child because of neglect and improper treatment of the disease the child has survived after clinical death, prolonged resuscitation, 3 surgeries. But Victoria has survived and only faith and hope is still alive!

The only chance to save the baby's life is unrelated bone marrow transplantation, which impossible in Ukraine. This surgery has agreed to make an Austrian clinic of St. Anne. Now Vicky is going through preparatory treatment for bone marrow transplantation in children's oncology center in Odessa.

The cost of BMT and preparatory treatment - 186,685 euros. One private foundation promises to pay 80,000 euros. The rest must be collected prior till July 7, 2013, we hope to help our non-profit website to find at least part of the shortfall, while continuing to seek funding from other sources. Transplantation will hold in the case of full prepayment account. This is a huge amount for a family and they have less than a month to gather it!

The terrible reality - the life of a child depends on a huge pile of money! This amount Vicky’s parents simply do not have and there is nowhere to get it!
