Let's give Svitlana a chance to be treated!

Small Svitlanka is a joyful and energetic girl. Unfortunately, she was born with infantile cerebral paralysis (ISP). This means a setback of her statokinetic and her psycho-lingual development do not let her enjoy her life to its fullest. Svitlanka is not isolated from other children and tries to keep up with them whilst playing. She wants to be like her four years old twin sister. Even though her developmental disability is hard for her to deal with she never gives up.

Svitlanka has already received five courses of treatment in the International Clinic of rehabilitation in Truskavets, six courses in the Khmelnickiy Medical Rehabilitation Centre of Disabled Children “Apis-Melifika”, five courses in the Rivne Regional Children's Hospital and one in the Kuznetsovsk Social Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children.

The development and well-being of Svitlanka is a concern not only of her mother and father, but also of her two older siblings. Even though she receives a lot of attention and care from her family, it is not enough for her further fight with ISP. She urgently needs a next round of treatment in Truskavets. It is simply impossible for her parents, who have of four children, to cover all costs of her treatment.

Natalia and Sergij Melnik, the parents of Svitlanka, have no choice but to rely on the kind-heartedness of others. In search for the support of such people they will greatly appreciate any amount of financial help. Even small donations will, if taken together, transform into Svitlankas rehabilitation.
