Svitlana Melnyk, a girl from the Rivne region, turned 11 years old this spring. For all these years, with the support of her mother, sister, and twin siblings, she has been fighting for a full and independent life. Svitlana was born with a severe condition – cerebral palsy (CP). Spastic quadriplegia and partial optic nerve atrophy prevent her from moving independently, sitting, walking, or taking care of herself. However, it is possible to learn all these skills through consistent rehabilitation and intensive treatment.

Svitlana's mother has identified two highly effective rehabilitation centers for her – the Kozijavkin International Clinic and the "Rehabilitation Center" in Modrychi village. She has noticed the most positive results after undergoing rehabilitation there. However, the cost of treatment at these centers is quite expensive. Currently, Svitlana is studying in the third grade through an individualized learning program. She communicates using short sentences, understands almost everything, and takes steps with the help of her family.

The Melnyk family is reaching out to you for financial support to continue a series of rehabilitations and improve the life of their child.
