Danylo needs an eye operation

Danylo has significant vision problems. He was diagnosed with eye disease with a terrible diagnosis of cataracts in the summer of 2023. Since then, doctors have tried every way to overcome the disease without surgery. But, unfortunately, treatment is possible only through surgery.

Danylo's family lives in the village of Pletenyi Tashlyk, Kirovohrad region. The boy was born without any difficulties, but in the first months of his life he suffered from lactose intolerance, which required frequent and lengthy treatment in hospitals. Now Danylo is seven years old and is entering the second grade. The boy studies well at school and tries hard, but his eye disease makes it difficult for him to study and live his everyday life.

Danylo is interested in various insects, loves animals, and likes flowers. Like most of the boys in his neighborhood, he is fond of various models of cars, plays soccer and rides a bicycle. Danylko has many friends at school and in the yard at home. He has a younger sister, Yana, and an older brother, Dmytro, and they are his best friends!

Now the boy feels normal and has a good mood, because there is hope that soon he will see better! The doctors emphasize that the surgery should not be delayed. His mother, who has many children, cannot afford the lenses needed for the operation. Danylo can only hope for help from people who care!
