Daniella: recovering, helping others
We raised funds for Daniela, who were transferred to the clinic of Israel. The girl underwent a course of treatment, but since the clinic account left UAH 12,583, and Daniela no longer needs active laboratory research, the remaining funds will be spent on physical examinations of Topalova Lyudmila and Nadezhda. They suffer from chronic diseases. For more information, see the documentation.
A small family of Topalov, elderly mother and daughter, in 2014 were forced to leave native Donetsk. Their house was near the airport and it seemed that the entire city turned in to the battlefield. This is how two women end up in Kiev, where they were sheltered by the relatives.
Ludmila is 73 and for 32 years she worked as a teacher of foreign languages in school. She is retired. She didn't want to get official status of a disabled person since she felt embarrassed by her disease. Last year she underwent the surgery. She needs to take medication until the end of her life and twice a year she has to be hospitalized. She also needs to constantly control analysis. But small pension of the teacher is enabling her to do that.
Nadia still could work and help her mother, and she is even registered at the State Employment Center. But chronic pain syndrome crosses out the chanced for employment. Now Nadia is undergoing the course of treatment, after which she will have to undergo examination before the surgery, which hopefully will eliminate the pain syndrome, so Nadia will be able to have a full life.
