Imagine a world where the joy of a child's birth is overshadowed by a daily struggle for their future. This is the world Kira lives in. At the age of three, she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These diagnoses, along with accompanying issues like clubfoot and a metabolic disorder, have made her life a constant challenge. Kira has been a recognized as a disabled person since 2022.

Kira's family has done everything possible to help her. They've paid for numerous costly genetic, neurological, and immunological tests, which confirmed that medication would not be the solution. The only effective path is consistent and dedicated work with specialists.

Thanks to regular sessions with rehabilitation specialists, defectologists, speech therapists, psychologists, and corrective educators, Kira makes small but incredibly important steps every day: she says new words and learns to interact with the world.

Due to the full-scale invasion, Kira's family was forced to flee Kyiv. She lost her primary source of income and the opportunity to receive qualified help in the capital. Now, in a small, remote community where there are no specialized state centers, all the necessary rehabilitation is paid for from the family's savings or with the help of benefactors.

Despite all the difficulties, Kira shows extraordinary strength and talent. Her first words were sung, and now she reads and communicates through writing. This is her unique path to understanding the world, the path of a true little Ukrainian girl who is overcoming incredible obstacles.
