Daryna needs help

Daryna was diagnosed with the disease in September 2020. The girl was only 5 years old when her parents found out she had diabetes. In the summer, they began to observe that the child drank a lot, went to the toilet many times, and lost a lot of weight. The kindergarten teachers also noticed this. The mother decided to go to the hospital to get tested. Daryna's blood was taken from her finger, and the doctors saw very high sugar readings on the glucometer. The diagnosis of diabetes became clear. The doctors taught her mother how to inject insulin, brought her child's sugar level back to normal, and discharged her home.

The woman couldn't believe it and just cried: it was incredibly hard to accept and believe it. The woman had a lot of questions: why her daughter, how will we cope, how will Daryna go to school? Later she realized that she could live with it. Now Daryna is injected with insulin three times a day.

Daryna lives in Stryi district, Lviv region. She has two older brothers, they love her very much and help her with everything. Now the girl is 9 years old. She is active, cheerful and inquisitive. She is in the 3rd grade and is doing well. There is also a boy with diabetes in her class, and they are friends. Daryna is generally very active, and she gets along with everyone. She loves to draw coloring books and ride her bike, and has many friends.

Of course, the girl follows a strict diet, but at the age of 9 it is so hard to deny yourself everything. In general, she is already used to her difficult life, and her main need today is continuous glucose monitors, which her mother cannot afford due to her difficult financial situation. Daryna needs help to buy these devices.
