When Little Darinka Was Born, She Didn't Take Her First Breath…

She wasn't breathing. Doctors immediately rushed her to intensive care, where she spent 21 long days in the ICU, 17 of them on a ventilator.

The diagnosis was devastating, but not for Darinka! Hypoxic-ischemic brain injury, severe asphyxia, cerebral palsy (CP).

Her first rehabilitation sessions began when she was only 5 months old.

Physical therapy, massages, hydrotherapy – everything to give her a chance to develop. At just 1 year old, doctors added another painful diagnosis – CP, but we didn’t give up.

Every course of treatment brings results!

Darinka has learned to hold her head up, keep her back straight, and even say "mama" for the first time. Thanks to her last rehabilitation course, made possible by your support, she experienced reduced spasticity, improved her sleep, and developed new skills – she started chewing pears and apples!

But it’s not enough for her to stand on her feet…

Without continued treatment, all these hard-earned gains could be lost.

We cannot stop now!
