David is learning to live a new life

David is a three-year-old boy whose life changed dramatically a few months ago. Following a sudden deterioration in his condition and subsequent hospitalization, David was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This is a chronic condition that requires constant blood sugar monitoring, insulin administration, adherence to a dietary routine, and nighttime measurements. Before his illness, he was growing up as an active and curious child, attending kindergarten, enjoying time with other children, and living a life typical for his age.

David is currently not attending kindergarten, as his condition requires constant supervision and adjustment to a new way of life. David has a complete family. His father works and is the sole breadwinner, as following the diagnosis his mother was forced to leave her job in order to be by her son's side at all times and monitor his condition. The family rents their home, which adds significant financial pressure.
