"Day of Cleanliness" for single grandparents

Lonely elderly people are today one of the most vulnerable categories of the population in Ukraine. Old age makes a person weak, and loneliness - locks in four walls. Miserable pensions make you save on the most necessary, even on funds for body care and house cleaning.

Lonely elderly people are today one of the most vulnerable categories of the population in Ukraine. Old age makes a person weak, and loneliness - locks in four walls. Miserable pensions make you save on the most necessary, even on funds for body care and house cleaning.

The Home Care project has been implemented by the HRCF Social Assistance Service since 1999. The project provides social assistance and support to single elderly people who were left without the care of relatives and children.

On the eve of Easter, which is one of the most important dates for the elderly, we want to arrange a “Day of Cleanliness” for our beneficiaries. On this day, social workers will do cleaning in the homes of our grandparents. If an elderly person cannot take a bath on his own, he will be assisted in this.

In order for the "Day of Cleanliness" to take place, we need to collect 6 343 UAH for the purchase of products for personal body hygiene (soap, shampoo, body sponge), as well as products for cleaning the premises and washing windows. Such a set for one person is 288,3 UAH. We need 22 sets.
