Ten years with diabetes

Nazar has been living with diabetes for ten years. Now he is thirteen and a student at a Kyiv gymnasium. He is a kind and compassionate boy who leads an active life – he plays football, goes swimming, and does well in school. Nazar does his best to ensure that his disease does not affect his life in society. The boy is interested in the IT field, additionally learns English, and is engaged in online learning. He has time for friends and peers.

But living with diabetes is quite expensive. All the devices and consumables needed by the patient cost a lot of money, and a special diet is also expensive. His parents work at the railroad. They try to provide their son with everything to minimize the consequences of diabetes, but they fail. Over the ten years of Nazar's illness, the family budget has been completely devastated. Nazar's mother asks for help with the purchase of blood glucose meters.
