A breath of light for the little ones in Sumy

In the first days of life, even light can save a life. In the neonatal intensive care units of the Sumy City Council’s "Clinical Perinatal Center of the Blessed Virgin Mary", staff help premature babies, those with critically low birth weight, or those requiring immediate medical attention right after birth every single day.

One of the most common threats to these babies is neonatal jaundice. For many children, phototherapy is not just a treatment, but a way to avoid severe damage to the nervous system, developmental complications, and prolonged treatment.

That is why the hospital needs a modern Bilibluelight phototherapy lamp.

We are launching this fundraiser to help the perinatal center’s team provide their young patients with modern phototherapy equipment.

Our goal is to raise 300,000 UAH to purchase a Bilibluelight phototherapy lamp for the "Clinical Perinatal Center of the Blessed Virgin Mary", a municipal non-profit enterprise of the Sumy City Council.
