Timur has the status of a child affected by hostilities. For a month and a half, he sat with his family in a damp basement under occupation. A persistent cough developed into asthma, so the boy needs long-term and expensive treatment.

In accordance with Agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator POMAGAEM Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and Additional Agreement No. 21.254 dated 11 April 2024 the project ‘Breathe Freely After the Basements of Occupation’ was posted on the website of the charitable organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ - dobro.ua - with the aim of attracting donations to pay for Timur Dyachko's treatment.

When the entire amount needed to pay for the boy's treatment was collected on two information platforms: the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Organisation and the Pomagaem Charitable Foundation, we requested that the collection be closed and the amount of the project on dobro.ua be reduced to the actual amount collected, 55,552.00 UAH (fifty-five thousand five hundred and fifty-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and to transfer the funds to our current account to pay for Timur's treatment, which was done in accordance with letter No. 38 dated 21 January 2025.

Thanks to the funds received, in February 2025, we purchased and delivered medicines for the boy in the amount of 13,138.60 UAH (thirteen thousand one hundred thirty-eight hryvnias, 60 kopecks), and in April – worth 26,156.30 UAH (twenty-six thousand one hundred and fifty-six hryvnias, 30 kopecks).

In the summer of this year, the Dyachko family again asked us to buy medicines for Timur. So, in July 2025, we provided the boy with the necessary medicines for a total amount of UAH 16,257.10 (sixteen thousand two hundred and fifty-seven hryvnias, 10 kopecks).

Timur finished the third grade of the Polohivska School online. His favourite subject is mathematics. He solves problems very quickly and offers non-standard solutions to them. In his free time, Timur builds entire cities from Lego sets and collects transformer cars.

The boy loves animals and enjoys going fishing with his older brother David. Together with his older sister Bohdana, Timur helps his mother in the garden and at home.

Thanks to the medication, he sleeps better at night, and his mother sincerely thanks all the caring people for supporting her son.

Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.

We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help and support!
