Home for orphans-3

It’s quite complicated for us, ordinary and successful people to understand what a little orphan feels like, let alone if this abandoned child was born with disabilities. This helpless and vulnerable child is left face to face with this cruel world, which often lacks love, care and safety. If you ask a child from an orphanage what his/her fondest dream is, the answer will certainly be “a loving family”. It was proved that sick orphans feel much better and recover much faster in family-type homes. That is why we are launching the third round of fundraising campaign to welcome more foster families in our “Happy Home-3” in the village of Ukrajinka in Zaporizhzhia region.

Thanks to Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace during 2014-2015, we have provided “Happy Home-3” with kitchen and bathroom accessories. “Happy Home-3” is currently hosting the Litaviy family that consists of dad, mom and five children. These adopted children have become more calm, sensible, clever and most importantly they have felt parents’ love, care, and family harmony. These children are now loved and wanted. Ten more little orphans with disabilities are impatiently waiting to move into their new home. This big mission still requires beds and such bed linen as blankets, matrasses as well as towels.
