Dima wants to train.

Dima is 16 years old, most of all in life he just wants to feel healthy and breathe freely, and his biggest material dream is a treadmill. The father raises the son himself and has been fighting for his life for many years in the way he can. It is expensive. 

Dima has been already born with the genetic disease cystic fibrosis, but without availability of diagnostics, his parents did not learn about it at once. Only in 2007 the baby got to good doctors, who explained to the father what was happening to his son and how to live with it. 

Cystic fibrosis is a condition of the body due to the DNA breakdown, which causes increased viscosity of all secretions in the body. It may seem non-essential. But it affects the digestive system, disrupting the assimilation of food - in particular, now the teenager weighs only 26 kg. It destroys the lungs, promotes the development of chronic infections in them, destroys lung tissues, causes shortness of breath every day. You can live with that. But you need to follow a complex treatment regimen that combines a special diet, physiotherapy, inhalations, taking a large number of medications. 

Dima enjoys painting, loves football and would love to chase the ball with friends all day long. Instead, the other day the boy went home after 4 months of hospitalization. He is very weak. But Dima wants to train. Realizing that physical activity is one of the keys to a successful fight for health, we would like to make Dima the gift he dreams of. We are also raising money for the consumables to the inhaler, a sterilizer for medical equipment and food certificates to support a bit this small family.
