Children deserve better!

For every mother, the child's health is most important. But when her child feels a little sick, she immediately rushes to the hospital. Is it possible to treat the child in such conditions? The budget of the state for the purchase of new furniture or appliances is very modest, and what to say there is not always and the medicine is available. Half of the patients who come into the Kolomyia Children's Hospital are children from large families, families in a crisis and low-income families, as well as semi-orphans ones. That is, this is the category of people who do not live in the best conditions. But when such children get into a hospital, the situation is getting even worse. 

Pediatrics is located on the 3rd floor of the Children's Hospital. To this moment the department has been repaired. In order to improve the conditions of patients' stay, five more chambers were built in the department, in which there is a toilet. The funds allocated by the state are only enough for repairs, but here they did not do without patrons.

"We want to open pediatrics as a new, modern and comfortable stay for parents and their children during an illness. For us, it is important to upgrade the furniture, since they have not been changed from the Soviet Union, only remodeled. Today, beds in the ward with curved springs, mattresses are old and not subject to use. Our children do not deserve this, "says Oleg Tokarchuk, the main doctor of the Children's Hospital. To improve the conditions we need to replace about 70 beds, the cost of one reaches about 5,000 UAN. This is without taking into account the mattresses and bedside tables that also need to be upgraded. Doctors and not indifferent parents do their best, but they can not complete the sum so far. That's why they ask for your help.
