Child's dream

Alina has a cerebral palsy. Alina is only 3.5 years old and she doesn’t know what is to run, jump and just walk! But, she quietly knows what are a constant treatment, massages, therapeutic exercise, electro procedures and injections! Such rehabilitation is the one that helps her now. Alina is a painful, diligent and strong girl. Her power is a fighting for the health at all cost. However, without your help there is a risk to lose a treatment, as we don’t have enough money to take the next rehabilitation course.

Alina Kharchenko is a premature child. She was born with the weight of 1540 grams. The delivery was very difficult, and after it there were a lung ventilator, drips and injections. We took rehabilitation from that time when Alina was an infant. Having been known about the awful diagnosis “a cerebral palsy”, Alina’s mother started the fight for her baby’s health. Thanks to an active rehabilitation in the Dr. Kozyavkin International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets there are a positive dynamics: a little girl holds her back, starts to walk on knees holding on the ball. To continue the treatment is life-saving. Alina likes helping her mom to do the laundry, sweep and clean the dust. She is a real mom’s assistant. Moreover, Alina really likes listening to the books, assembling puzzles and knows many poems. She is a friendly girl and she is making huge efforts to be able to go to the kindergarten. But, Alina couldn’t walk by herself and she couldn’t be taken to the kindergarten. Her mother teaches Alina.

Alina has a great potential and excellent dynamics! She has all chances to be closer to the full life and become the child as the ordinary ones! Our goal is by means of UBB to raise funds to pay for the rehabilitation course in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets. Kharchenko family is forced to address to you for your help because of lacking of enough money to pay for the treatment. Alina’s family sure hope for your support as their desire is to see how the little daughter can walk even though hand in hand, bit by bit, but on her own legs as all children do.
