Children's dream, August 2016
I am a mother of a great girl Alina, she is six years old and she is the only child in the family. My daughter's diagnosis is cerebral palsy, spastic diplegy. Instead of a carefree childhood, Alina sees only rehabilitation centers, hospitals, exercises and treatment. My daughter has a great will to overcome her illness and learn to walk! That is why she is moving to her goal through tears and pain, so that one day she becomes a usual child! Every little success of my child is an every day hard work! However, we cannot make it on our own, - we do not have enough money for the rehabilitation, which has been planned for the August of this year.
Alina was born prematurely with a weight of 1540 grams. In the age of 2,5 months she went through her first rehabilitation and neurologists announced her sad diagnosis- cerebral palsy.
My daughter is a very communicative girl and she really wants to go to school, to sit and study at the usual desk with usual children, but she is limited in her movements. She is hard-working, she likes to read books, draw, she remembers and repeats poems, tales, knows letters and is learning to read and write. In other words- we are getting ready for school at home.
Alina understands well that all this knowledge she will need for the future studying, but if she cannot walk on her own she will not be able to go to the usual school. From these thoughts she gets very sad. Now she moves across our home holding the wall with her hand.
My daughter has a hobby- together we do greeting cards and give them out to our friends and relatives as presents for holidays.
Due to the last course in the International clinic of the rehabilitative treatment Alina has got some new skills: she started to keep balance more assured, walk, holding on hand, had learned to get up from the chair, she can stand on her own for at least two seconds, whereas before she would fall right away, she has learned to make several steps by herself.
Now it is very important for Alina to go through the next course of rehabilitation in the International Center of Rehabilitation by Dr. Koziavkin's method. For children like our Alina it is very important to withstand the frequency of rehabilitation courses, because each course - is another step to recovery.
Thousands of children begin their day with the fight for life... For their little lives. Hundreds of mothers pray for the salvation of their children: first they ask for the help of doctors, then, when they see the numbers in their bills for the treatment- they ask for the help of the indifferent people. Their souls are warmed by believing that everything will change for better and by hope that they will heard, understood and helped.
