Children’s Hope: Support for the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Centre for Rehabilitation and Social Reinte

Thanks to charitable donations from Kyivstar subscribers, furniture was purchased to fully equip five wards in the Intensive Care and Extracorporeal Treatment Department. The new furniture will make the children’s stay in the hospital more comfortable, contribute to their psychological recovery, and provide medical staff with convenient and functional conditions for their daily work.

As part of the ONKO project, furniture was purchased to equip five wards in the intensive care and extracorporeal treatment department of the Municipal Enterprise “Regional Medical Center for Family Health” of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council (Municipal Enterprise “RMCFH” DRC). These wards house children undergoing treatment for cancer.

Despite the challenging conditions of wartime, the hospital renovated two intensive care wards on its own and needed modern, functional furniture. It was important not only to ensure comfortable conditions for the children but also to create a space that would promote their emotional well-being, recovery, and a positive outlook during treatment.

As part of the “Children’s Hope” project, we continue our collaboration with Panmed LLC, a company specializing in the manufacture of medical furniture tailored to the needs of healthcare facilities. The furniture was paid for on July 6, 2026, and on September 2, 2026, it was delivered to the hospital and installed by the manufacturer.

It is expected that approximately 900 children will receive specialized treatment in the department over the course of the year.
