In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the Children's Hope project to help children with heart disease and cancer treated in Ukrainian hospitals. In April 2023, the Children's Hope project was expanded to include a new area of work - helping children with burns. Despite the war, the programme continues to operate and provide necessary medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals.

As part of the oncology project, in December 2024, the Regional Medical Centre for Family Health of the Regional State Administration (formerly the Dnipro Regional Children's Clinical Hospital) will receive assistance.

Despite the war, the hospital has made repairs to two intensive care units of the onco-haematology centre, where young patients with cancer are treated, and now needs new medical furniture. Two sets of children's medical furniture will be purchased for the intensive care and extracorporeal treatment department of the centre. (For details, see the Reports and Documents section).

The Regional Medical Centre for Family Health provides highly specialised medical care in accordance with the requirements for hospitals of the third level of medical care. The hospital currently has a capacity of 645 beds. To date, the hospital is the only one that can fully provide multidisciplinary care for children in the southeastern region. It is expected that about 900 children will receive special treatment this year.
