In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In February 2021, the National Cancer Institute received assistance under the Oncology project. The National Cancer Institute is the main medical institution in Ukraine in the fight against cancer.

The vast majority of children with newly diagnosed malignant solid neoplasms are treated at the National Cancer Institute, in particular in the Department of Pediatric Oncology. And this is from 250 to 300 children from all regions of Ukraine annually. Children aged 0 to 18 years, with all kinds of solid malignant neoplasms are treated.

On the basis of the Institute in 2020 for the first time a psychological service was created to support and accompany patients at all stages of cancer treatment. The funds raised were used to purchase equipment for the sensory room of the psychological service, with the help of which psychologists will implement the latest methods of treatment when accompanying patients in the first stage of treatment, accompanying cancer patients and their relatives at all stages of diagnosis and treatment. , etc.

This room will be a place of rest and rehabilitation for young patients struggling with complex cancers.
