As part of the Cardiology project, during June –, August 2025, the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery with the Intensive Care Chamber of the Communal Non-Commercial Enterprise «Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital» of the Odesa Regional Council» receives assistance.
KNP «Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital» provides assistance to children from the city of Odesa, Odesa Region and adjacent regions. The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery with an intensive care unit as part of inpatient treatment provides assistance to children with congenital heart defects and vascular anomalies, who do not stop their work even despite a full-scale war. Every year, there are up to 200 children who have been diagnosed with congenital heart disease for the first time. Approximately 150 children are treated during the year, about 20 of whom are children weighing less than 1.5 kilograms and who also require surgical interventions.
On June 27, 2025, KNP «Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital» received the MultiMed 5 module. This accessory to the patient's anesthesia breathing equipment and monitors ensures stable operation of the equipment and continuous control of vital signs during operations.
On July 4 and August 06, 2025, we handed over a patient heating device complete with additional consumables to KNP «Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital». The heater helps reduce the risk of complications, shortens the length of stay in the hospital and promotes faster recovery after operations.
On July 24, 2025, new high-quality surgical instruments were delivered, which will allow doctors to perform operations on children's hearts with maximum accuracy.
