In November 2018, Kyivstar together with the Ukrainian Charity Exchange launched the Children's Hope charity program to help children with heart disease and cancer treated in Ukrainian hospitals. The company's prepaid subscribers can make a charitable donation in two areas of assistance (onco or cardio) and choose one of the four regions (Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv and Odessa) where the hospital receives funds. Philanthropists who are not users of Kyivstar mobile services have the opportunity to make transfers using a bank card. Subscribers can also make a transfer via USSD-code and when replenishing the account on the pay.kyivstar.ua page. 100% of donations are used by UBB ICF for project implementation. Lviv Regional Council "Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center" was given 3 medical beds Eleganza 1 and Medical cart for transporting patients TBP-02. The purchased equipment will be used for the installation of transplant units.
