The aim of the project was to raise funds for the purchase of a Bair Hugger patient heating system for the St. Nicholas Hospital of the 1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv in Lviv. Lviv.
One of the critical needs of the hospital is a Bair Hugger patient heating system.
Babies lose heat faster, and in case of severe burns or critical conditions, their bodies cannot maintain the required temperature on their own. During surgeries and procedures, children need stable warmth so that the body can fight for life. The Bair Hugger system ensures safe, controlled and uniform warming of the child - not only during operations, but also in intensive care, intensive care units and during transportation of seriously ill patients.
The CO ICF “Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace” and the supplier “AZARIS GROUP” LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY concluded an agreement No. 03-2025/1 dated March 17, 2025 for the supply of equipment.
Payment for the equipment was made on 04/07/2025.
On April 15, 2025, the Bair Hugger patient heating system was handed over to the hospital.
Thanks to this device, doctors will be able to prevent hypothermia during and after surgery.
