Sasha came to this world wished and beloved. Everything was prepared for the beginning of the new life: professional doctor with 11 years of practice behind, every test , every examination was done. And here was the long waiting day...and stroke which has changed the life. Scary memories, scary medical terminology, 35 weeks of pregnancy... no delivery activity... 5 doses of oxitocine... Apgar- 1 point- the child neither breathes not cries... It's impossible to count every emergency action without tears. 26 hours of delivery – fight between life and death. But life won.

After two weeks in emergency and 1,5 month in hospital, mother together with Sasha came home. Every mean and effort was given to fight for the little son given by God. It seemed it was victory even with a huge list of prescriptions and recommendations. Sasha was registered as special need at the age of 5,5 months. Advice... Advice... Advice to take the child to the institution for special need... Children do not survive there and to forget about the problem. Why to keep disabled who will be "vegetable" for ever. " But this is my son. It's part of me. I will do my best to improve his physical skills. God gave him life and I do not believe I brought him to this life for torments. I will keep fighting..."

Cerebral palsy - it's very scary. Sasha's mother does, did and will do everything for his psychological and physical rehabilitation. She devoted her life to her child, but unfortunately finance abilities of Sasha's relatives are limited. For the last 6,5 years they had 12 courses of rehabilitation at the clinic of Professor Berseniev V.A. in Kiev, 5 courses at the clinic of Professor Kosiavkin V.I. In Truskavets, 2 courses in specialized children health center near Odessa, 3 courses of dolphin therapy, 3 courses of ippotherapy. Thanks God Sasha makes progress every day but still he cannot talk. There are not any step or moving reflexes. He can sit with assistance. With all this he already can breath, suck, swallow, ask for toilet. Sasha can smile, he loves listening to classical music, nature sounds, dolphins, children songs. There is the light at the end of the tunnel.

The family income is pension from the state for special need. Every other resource is exhausted. But there is so much to do to let Sasha be covered with the sun shine. Please, respond who are kindhearted. Feel this pain, despair, anguish fight. Any even the smallest help is necessary for this little boy. These little Sashas are the best teachers for us who are lucky and not , for us who are kind and not, for us who are rich and not. They teach us to love, to care, to be better.
