"My name is Anna. I live in a small town called Svatovo. This is the Luhansk region. Of course, I don’t remember how I was born, but my mother told me that I was born by C-section, I was born in asphyxia. Then there was an intragastric hemorrhage, hydrocephalus developed... and immediately resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, neonatal pathology department...".

It is impossible to read a letter riddled with pain and to stay indifferent.

Thanks to the caring hands of the doctors, after 3 months the girl was able to get stronger and she was discharged home. But treatment and examinations continued in different clinics. The consequences of pathological childbirth entailed a number of complex diagnoses. Anna's story continues:

"Mom says that I have become quite an adult with her, because I have experienced a lot: consultations in different cities, injections, examinations, droppers and, worst of all, chemotherapy. When I got better, I went to rehabilitation centers. Doctors say that after the treatment I became more diligent, my coordination improved and more new words appeared. At the last rehabilitation, I learned how to make sentences with verbs, and I succeed!".

Yes, we understand that the letter was written by her mother, that Anya, with all her diagnoses, cannot write it by herself. But we really want that after so many challenges, Anya could formulate and describe the story of her life on paper on her own.

"My mother also tells me that if kind people help us, I will definitely go to the rehabilitation center again .... I don’t know how to ask kind people to help me...".

The child does not know how to ask, but we do! Treatment in rehabilitation centers costs a lot of money, which the girl's family does not have. Please don't pass by Ania, give her a chance to become free from the clutches of the disease
