"Hello! Please help! Your assistance can help give my baby a normal and full life without a wheelchair." With such words the poor mother of little Vanya, who was two years old at the time, started her letter. This baby is blessed by God to have a loving and caring mother who would never leave him alone with his illness. But there's no money to cure her son.

Vanya's birth has brought eagerly awaited happiness to his family. They were really happy to take care of their new born son. When Vanya was 7 months old his mother began to raise the alarm; the boy could not sit, he didn't make any attempts to crawl or stand. Regularly, once a month, they visited a children's neurologist but doctors reassured there were no cause for concern; a mild form of statokinetic delay is normal for a premature baby. When Vanya was 9 months old, doctors announced the terrible news - "a risk of cerebral palsy".

Endless massage courses and continuous exercise therapy, physiotherapy, intensive drug treatment, rehabilitation in the regional clinical centre followed after that. Parents resisted the illness every minute applying all possible means and kept believing in success. Nevertheless, Vanya was diagnosed "cerebral palsy" by his first birthday. When Vanya was 1.3 years he began to suffer from convulsions and it became impossible to apply a massage.

He underwent 3 long courses of treatment in the neurology department at the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital. Specialists recommended a unique method of neurophysiological rehabilitation developed by professor V. Kozijavkin MD (Truskavets). All the hopes are connected to this clinic; they can provide the anticonvulsant therapy which can give good results in such cases. Having gathered all the strength and inexhaustible faith, supported by the caring people Vanya began to take an intensive neurophysiological rehabilitation therapy in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets. This is another multi-day course which will last almost four years which is much needed in such age to have a longtime positive and progressive result.

Mother will feel happiness when the doctors say: "Discharged home in a satisfactory condition with improvement!"

We are asking all concerned people to help this charming baby get back to a normal life; if he takes the course of medical rehabilitation on time he will have good chances of recovery

Miracles can happen where they are believed in but sometimes miracle needs a helping hand!
