The girl needs help with treatment

Vika fell ill very suddenly. She began to lose weight rapidly, and when she went to the doctor, he diagnosed her with a terrible disease – diabetes. For 4 years now, the girl has been living with this disease.

Vikusia is now 13 years old. She is a dancer and loves to sing. Vika always repeats that she is not sick, she just has this way of life. She can't inject insulin on her own, so her mother has to be with her daughter all the time. Vika has managed to keep her friends – they try to support her and take care of her. Even on joint holidays, they take food so that Vikusia can eat as well. Everyone at school knows about her illness, and her teachers protect her.

Vika comes from a low-income rural family. She has an 8-year-old brother, who takes care of his sister and always carries a candy in his pocket because Vikusia might get sick and need something sweet, and always reminds her that she needs to eat. The boy loves her very much. The family had a hard time supporting two children even before the outbreak of the full-scale war, but now it has become completely impossible. The parents are unable to provide Vika with proper treatment, including the purchase of medical supplies to measure blood glucose levels. They are engaged in household work, but it does not bring enough money. Her mother is begging for help with Vika's treatment.
