An orphan girl needs an eye operation

Fate is not very favorable to Alina. The girl grew up in difficult conditions. The girl's father left her with her brother when the children were very young. Three years ago, her mother died of cancer. Alina lives in a mountainous Carpathian village with her grandmother, from where she walks to the Kosiv-Polyanska community secondary school. Alina helps her grandmother take care of the pets and the farm and assists the women who take care of the cattle during the grazing season and milk collection.

Two years ago, Alina had an accident. The girl was helping her grandmother plant potatoes in her garden. Suddenly, a neighbor girl came to the plot. It is not clear what happened between the children, but the neighbor hit Alina on the head with a stick. The girl's eye was severely injured. The grandmother hoped that the wound on the damaged eye would heal on its own. But it did not happen. The condition of the injured eye only worsened. Now Alina can see only 3% of the time.

After an examination at the Ivano-Frankivsk hospital, an ophthalmologist decided that only surgery could help Alina. The girl needs to undergo surgery to replace the lens of her eye and surgery for an eye hernia, which is constantly growing and threatens to deprive Alina of her vision forever.

Alina is an orphan. She has no one to help her. Her grandmother is unable to buy all the medical supplies necessary for her granddaughter's surgery. Without help, the surgery is impossible.
