A girl from a large family needs treatment. 3
Olya from the Rivne region is the fifth child in the Fursovich family. Her fate is not the same as that of her peers. Due to the lack of immunity, Olya had to be isolated from children for a long time. SARS, bronchitis and stomatitis are constant companions of her childhood. This disease is predetermined genetically and it is very difficult for a girl to live fully. Olya needs constant medication to reduce the risk of a new infection.
Doctors offered the family to consider the possibility of taking Olya out of the borders of Ukraine. But a large family with a disabled father of the 2nd group did not dare to move. The family decided to survive the war in their native village in the Rivne region. In their area shelling was only at the beginning of the war. Parents are monitoring the situation, but they are not going to leave yet. Now it's time for a new agricultural season in the village. The Fursovich family has increased the crops and Olya helps her parents to cope with the garden chores.
Olya studies at school remotely. School organized regular volunteer trips for schoolchildren to military units. Children bake buns for soldiers, pass homemade food, teach and read poetry. Olya loves to go to the military. Been 4 times already and looking forward to my next trip. She is active and brave, and is very worried about the soldiers. After each trip, he asks his mother if everything will be fine with the military? Will they stay alive?
Only recently, doctors have chosen Olya a medication that makes her immune system work. The cost of the drug is high, and the family cannot afford to buy it. Before the war, volunteers and donors helped to raise funds for the medicine, and Olya now uses its remains. I had to reduce the dose by half and this immediately affected the girl's well-being. The drug ends in May and the family is very worried about how to continue to treat Olya.
