The girl with the kind heart

Kristina and her daughter Alice were forced to leave the city of Slavyansk, Donetsk region. Now they are temporarily displaced or, as they say, migrants. Now mother and daughter temporarily live in Cherkasy. Kristina hesitated, but then she decided to seek help so that her daughter could be treated at the Bersenev medical center in Kyiv.

Here is what Christina tells us: "My daughter Alice is 14 years old, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. All this time we have been waging an ongoing fight against the disease, this diagnosis requires constant rehabilitation measures, expensive medical treatment. Our family does not have enough money for all this, since Alice's father does not take part in the life of the child, he is deprived of parental rights and is wanted for non-payment".

Alice has already undergone four hip surgeries in her life. Now, because of the war in the country, Alice almost does not receive the treatment she needs, and therefore her condition has deteriorated significantly: spasticity in the limbs has reappeared, which led to deterioration in the hip joints. If we do not take the necessary measures now and do not undergo constant courses of treatment and rehabilitation, the girl may again end up on the operating table. Alice's mother asks caring people to help raise funds, to give the girl the chance for a full life.

Alice is a very smart child. She studies in the 7th grade according to the general education program, she is praised by teachers. Despite her diagnosis and her "naughty" hands, she loves to draw and she does it quite well.

Recently, she has been very passionate about helping the Ukrainian soldiers. She makes amulets for our soldiers at school with other children, helps to make candles. She wants to bring our victory closer because she really wants to return home as soon as possible. After all, there are three cats and the dog waiting for her, whom she sheltered from the street and took part in their treatment. Alice loves animals very much and dreams of becoming a veterinarian to help homeless animals.
