Working with orphans and children deprived of parental care in the "gray zone", with children who, in addition to living in shelters and boarding schools, were directly affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine – is an activity that not many people systematically engage in. The volunteers of our Foundation are just such people, of the few. For more than three years in a row, they have been continuously going to institutions for orphans and children deprived of parental care, ie to those whose parents have died, died or been abandoned.

To children's institutions located in frontline areas, bringing these deprived children – very young and slightly older children – gifts, food, necessary things for learning and just for life. Everything that seems normal and mundane to us living in peaceful areas, but for children who hear explosions every day and live in constant fear of death, is a real luxury. But the most important thing that these disadvantaged and offended little hearts need so much is love, warmth, kindness and faith that someone needs you, that someone will come to you again… And not just to bring food, clothes and stationery , and to be with you for a long time, to play, to talk, to teach some simple things in life that are completely inaccessible to children growing up in boarding schools…

Our volunteers, without sparing effort, time and resources, take care of children in six orphanages and shelters in the frontline areas. Thanks to them, these children can learn what kindness and generosity of human hearts are, what it is like to be needed, important and loved by someone, because they knew only cruelty, coldness and indifference in their short life. And also – war… Everything you need to work with these children – equipment and tools – was acquired thanks to caring people. However, today we are asking for help in purchasing some things necessary for working with children in boarding schools and shelters in the "gray zone". We are talking about a projector and two laptops, thanks to which this work with children will be much better and more efficient. All the money raised for travel goes to buy food and necessities for the life and education of children. Of course, there are not enough funds for these things.

Only with your help we will be able to raise the necessary amount for the purchase of equipment so that it is possible to conduct full-fledged developmental and educational activities with children and adolescents, if necessary – simultaneously in several institutions by different groups of our volunteers. The children are very much looking forward to the arrival of their close friends, who have practically replaced their children's relatives.

Let's join a good cause! Probably the hardest thing for those children now. And together we can make their lives a little better.
